"Survival of the fittest does not mean survival of the strongest, but survival of those that best fit their environment," croons Brett Keyser, on the streets of Philadelphia, dulcet tones ringing from his guitar on a recent sunny Autumn afternoon.
Though passersby shoot Keyser puzzled looks, his act makes perfect sense with this coming Tuesday marking the 150th anniversary of the publication of Charles Darwin's seminal work, On the Origin of Species.

Last night, I had no notion of what Notional was all about and what kind of goofy nerd extravaganza awaited me.
Blasts from the Nickelodeon past, courtesy of PRNewser's Joe Ciarallo oddly enough, "The Cosby Show," MTV, Channel One, and good ole "Best Week Ever" were all around the IAC, and each person was nicer than the next.
I spent 90% of my night laughing with the boisterous partiers celebrating the third season of "Chopped" under Ricky Van Veen's video production wing, Notional, and 10% getting my dorky fan girl on.

Once again, here's a highly selective critical rundown of shows and headlines that stood out during another packed sweeps week.
Classic Bizarro Jerry : Whetting our appetite for this Sunday's Curb Your Enthusiasm finale, the penultimate episode set amid the table-read and rehearsal for the faux Seinfeld reunion was a terrific curtain raiser.
It lifted the curtain on you-are-there backstage shenanigans that played, like the best of this season, as a mix of caustic Curb farce flavored by Seinfeld nostalgia.

I have to admit that House, MD is a great show. I love to watch it and have been watching if from the beginning. Why the academy did not give him best actor is be on me. I wrote to them and complained. House, MD is just about the best show on TV and yet stupid shows that I don't think they even watch won awards. What has happened to the mentality of the TV writers. They repeat shows from years ago but with chaos, silly jokes that make no sense and seem to think that the world revoles around the 16 to 30 years olds. Who I think are just plain stupid and think too much of them selves. Where are the great writers? Where is the talent that used to be on TV. The actors from film won awards, now why do you think? Maybe because they can act, like Hugh Laurie??? Please get some adults to write about life, not these junk reality shows that are on. Thank you FOX for keeping House, MD and the talented Hugh Laurie.
